Our Thai programs focus on building conversational Thai that you can use from day one.  At Insight we feel it is important to first learn to speak the language.

EDUCATION VISAS

Should you choose to study one of our Thai programs we are able to support you with an education visa.

Stage 1 : Apply for ED Visa

      1. Allow 3-4 weeks to apply for an Educational Visa .

      2. Inform us of the location of the Thai consular where you are going to apply for your Non-Immigrant ED Visa.

Note: You can go to Malaysia, Burma, Hong Kong, Cambodia, etc. or your country of origin.

      3. Required documents:

• Your Passport
• 6 Passport Photographs
• Enrolment Forms

      4. Payment of 25,000 Baht includes 180 hours of classroom lesson time, unlimited access to online self-learning programs, materials and an Educational Visa.

      5. We will inform you when all paperwork is ready to collect. You then can leave the country and apply for either Multiple Entry or Single Entry Educational Visa.

• Multiple Entry   you can leave Thailand without having to get the re-entry stamp. The cost for this type of visa is approximately 5,500 Baht.

• Single Entry  you will require a re-entry stamp from the immigration if you wish to leave Thailand before the visa expires. The cost for this type of visa is approximately 1,800 Baht. However, you will have to pay about 1,500 Baht for re-entry each time.

      6. The school timetable for Cha-am is every Wednesday and Friday 11.30am to 1pm, and Hua Hin is Tuesday and Thursday 11.30am to 1pm, you are expected to study 180 hours over a period of a year.

      7.Course Details

7.1 Speaking and Listening
• Everyday topics
• Able to both question and answer
• Pronunciation correction
• Practice focus

7.2 We run in a 3 month cycle with the third month being a review and expansion month. So, the strong students can relax while the slower students can catch up.

7.3 Writing and Reading (Year 2 and 3)
• Start with all letters
• Combination of letters to simple word
• Practice reading
• Learn Language tones

Stage2:  Visa Updates.

      2. You may be interviewed by immigration, basic questions that are in your course work.

      3. An Education Visa can be extended year by year with 3 years maximum.

CHILDREN’S COURSES

We are able to offer your child the ideal start in English with lessons for children from 4 years old.  This gives your child the head start they need and helps to develop the core English skills they will need as they grow up.

Our courses focus on the following areas:

• Pronunciation
• Listening
• Speaking
• Reading

The classes are activity based with songs, speaking drills, games, movement and craft used to motivate your child to use English.

We are also able to provide lessons at kindergartens to supplement regular lessons.  Contact Insight English Cha-am for more information.

IELTS WEEKEND STUDY PROGRAMS

We are pleased to be able to offer intensive weekend IELTS programs that cover the four core skills needed to successfully complete the IELTS test.  The program is suitable for students who are at a Pre Intermediate to Intermediate level of proficiency and follow the following schedule:

Fridays: 

• Transfer from Bangkok to Cha-am
• Check into accommodation
• Evening Meal
• Study Orientation

Saturdays:

• 9am – 12pm:                 Core Listening Skills
• 12pm – 1pm:                 Lunch Break
• 1pm – 4pm:                   Core Reading Skills

Transfer back to hotel followed by evening meal.

Sundays:

• 9am – 12pm:                 Core Writing Skills Task 1 & 2
• 12pm – 1pm:                 Lunch Break
• 1pm – 4pm:                   Core Speaking Skills

Transfer back to Bangkok at 6pm
